Now, I love Baccarat Rouge 540. This fragrance has taken the niche world by storm. It’s one of the best selling and over saturated fragrance in the fragrance world. I will always say that Baccarat Rouge 540 is a Staple in any fragrance collection. So with that being said in my collection I have some fragrances that smells like the oh so popular Baccarat Rouge 540. So at any price point you can get a pretty good vibe of Baccarat Rouge 540.
Zara Red Temptation is a highly inexpensive dupe for BR540. In USD I paid $29.90 for this wonderful fragrance. The longevity is amazing on this one. The projection is amazing as well. Even though the saying goes “ain’t nothing like the real thing baby” I will have to say if you don’t want to use up your bottle of BR540, or you just want to have a fabulous dupe, Red Temptation is a close thing to the real thing, a must buy, reach, investment, or pretty much a realistic starter. I see nothing wrong with this fragrance.
Emor London | London Oud No. 3 EDP is a secret Niche Cheapie gem, not only AFFORDABLE it is so close to Baccarat Rouge 540 I am amazed. Now I discovered this lovely fragrance on a blind buy binge. I had no idea how this fragrance would smell. One thing is for sure, I am so happy about this purchase. The performance is amazing, the longevity is amazing, the projection is amazing, and the price is amazing as well. Let me tell you if you are on a budget, or you just don’t to use up your original BR 540, London Oud No. 3 is the way to go.
Victoria’s Secret Midnight Bloom is a surprising dupe that I stumbled on when I purchased a huge blind buy of fragrance mists. I remembered when I first sprayed it, I immediately indicated that this smells familiar. Come to find this fragrance mist has a strong Baccarat Rouge 540 vibe. I wonder why no one has really talked about this. Like the smell is mind blowing, and for the price it so well worth it. I like to layer Midnight Bloom with Baccarat Rouge 540, or Ariana Grande’s Cloud. Plus the Midnight Bloom Lotion is another layering agent that is a sure plus to stretch out the longevity of any fragrance. So with that being said here are the other dupes that I have in my collection.
V Canto by Terenzi Stramonio, this to me is the closest to Baccarat Rouge 540. The DNA is there, however for some reason BR 540 projects a little more. The lasting power for Stramonio amazing. I was beyond shocked when I got my nose on this one. This was a complete blind buy, and for one I am so happy that I got my hands on this V Canto line. Stramonio is an Extrait De Parfum.
Ariana Grande Cloud, now for me this is a close dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540. The lasting power is not that long, however if you want that Baccarat Rouge 540 vibe this purchase for me was worth it. Plus this a cheapie so I have nothing to complain about. It’s a win win, I like to use this fragrance as a layering scent as well, and for the price I can over spray whenever I like.
Tiziana Terenzi Spirito Fiorentino, is a spicy kick to Baccarat Rouge 540. With the leather note in Spirito Fiorentino it gives it that extra edge that I did not know that I needed. Now for the price this fragrance is a little bit more than the Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP 70 ml bottle, however Spirito Fiorentino comes in an Extrait formula, plus you get 100ml for the price as well. So if you were to buy the Extrait version of Baccarat Rouge 540 you are going to pay around 200 US dollars more. So with that being said this fragrance is a true investment.
Now, I also have the Baccarat Rouge 540 Body Oil as well. So if you want to dip your toe in the Baccarat Rouge 540 family the body oil is a great introduction. For me the body oil is the ultimate layering agent for all of the scents that were mentioned before. Plus it gives my skin this wonderful healthy glow.
