What can I say I have been in an Oud Mood. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the smell of Oud. I purchased Oud Satin Mood way before I purchased the Oud Mood Discovery Set. ( Which by the way was my first Oud purchase).
The Oud Mood Discovery Set comes with five 11 ml bottles. The scents are as follows:•Oud Mood EDP, •Oud Silk Mood Extrait, •Oud Velvet Mood Extrait, •Oud Cashmere Mood Extrait, •Oud Satin Mood EDP. My favorite of them all would have to be Cashmere Mood. I love the camp fire smell that it gives off. It’s also has that right in your face woody smell as well. It’s a unique strong Smokey Oud. Silk Mood would have to be my second favorite. Now this is an all around smooth Oud. I feel like I can wear this with just about any other fragrance. It’s like a dependable friend. Satin Mood is my third favorite. This gives me a sweet woody smell, don’t get me wrong I bought this in a full size bottle before I purchased the discovery set, however it was a safe yet enjoyable purchase. My fourth favorite would have to be Oud Mood, now this one right here is the playing it safe card. I love the smell, and I love to add a lot of different fragrances to this one. I feel that you can not go wrong with Oud Mood only because it is kind of Vanilla compared to the 50 shades of Cashmere Mood. My fifth choice, not really a favorite would be Velvet Mood. I like it, however by itself on my chemistry it kind of smells like bug spray. Like for real mosquito repellent. I know it is weird, however that is what I get from it.
Now the wear on all of these fragrances are AMAZING. I definitely got my money’s worth. A little goes a long way, so this set can last a while. My next full size bottle will have to be Cashmere Mood, and Silk Mood. I can only purchase Cashmere Mood from the Maison Francis Kurkdjian website.
All of these fragrances to me are Unisex. I’m not just saying that because I also like to wear men fragrances . I just feel you can mix and match all of the fragrances in the Oud Mood Collection into something unique. Now with that being said I would recommend the collection in the cooler months. Now you can wear a fragrance when whenever you like. I just like to have a cool night with a woody smell radiating off my skin.
